We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) for general personal information and Ontario's Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA) for health information.

What we collect, and when
At the pharmacy (health information)
When you fill a prescription, get vaccinated, book a MedsCheck or minor-ailment assessment, or use any of our pharmacy services, we collect personal health information including: your name, date of birth, health card number, contact details, prescription history, allergies and medical conditions relevant to your care, and the records we are required to keep by law and by the Ontario College of Pharmacists. This information is governed by PHIPA.
On this website
When you use this website, we may collect:
- Information you submit through the contact form (name, email, optional phone, topic, message).
- Information you submit through our booking system (managed by Cal.com — see their privacy policy for how they handle bookings).
- Standard log information that web servers receive automatically — IP address, browser type, pages visited, time spent.
- Analytics data, if you have not opted out of cookies (see below).
How we use your information
- To provide pharmacy care — fill prescriptions, administer vaccines, conduct medication reviews, deliver to your home, coordinate with your prescribers.
- To respond to you — answer the questions you send us, schedule the appointments you book, send refill and pickup reminders.
- To meet legal and regulatory requirements — record-keeping under Ontario pharmacy regulations, reporting to public-health authorities, responding to court orders.
- To improve our services — aggregate analytics about how our website is used, so we can make it more useful.
When we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only when necessary and lawful:
- With your healthcare team — your prescriber, specialist, or other pharmacy if you ask us to transfer a prescription.
- With insurers and drug plans — to bill for medications and services you authorize.
- With service providers we rely on — for example, our pharmacy management software, our booking system (Cal.com), our website analytics. These providers are bound by contracts that limit how they use your information.
- When required by law — court orders, regulatory investigations, reporting obligations to public-health authorities.
How long we keep it
Pharmacy records are retained for the periods required by Ontario law and the Ontario College of Pharmacists — generally ten years from the last clinical interaction, longer for minors. Website form submissions are kept for as long as needed to address your inquiry and any subsequent follow-up, typically no more than two years. Analytics data is kept in aggregate and may be retained longer.
How we protect it
We use physical, technical, and administrative safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information — locked storage, restricted-access pharmacy management systems, encrypted website connections (HTTPS), staff trained in privacy and confidentiality, and limited internal access on a need-to-know basis.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses cookies and similar technologies. Essential cookies make the site work (for example, remembering that you've dismissed a banner). Optional analytics cookies help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it — we use Google Analytics and may use Meta Pixel for advertising measurement. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; the site will still function.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Withdraw consent for uses that are not required by law (this may affect our ability to provide certain services).
- Make a complaint to our Privacy Officer, the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario (for health information), or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (for general personal information).
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details at the top of this notice.
Children's privacy
This website is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the website. Pharmacy services for minors are provided in person with appropriate consent from a parent or guardian.
